Collection: Mushq Nuvera Silk

Nuvera Silk is Mushq's raw silk formal line, and Aangan carries all ten designs for customers in India. Every suit is a 3-piece unstitched set built on the same core combination: an embroidered, sequinned raw silk shirt, a raw silk trouser, and an embroidered sequinned chiffon dupatta finished with a silk border on all four sides.

What distinguishes this collection from Aangan's lawn and printed lines is the fabric weight and the sheer number of separately embellished components. Raw silk has a natural slub and enough body to hold a structured shape, which suits formal shirt cuts and carries embroidery without the fabric sagging under the work. Chiffon does the opposite — it stays light and drapes properly over the shoulder rather than sitting stiffly, while the four-side silk border gives the dupatta a finished edge and a little weight where it needs it.

Beyond the three main garments, each design carries its own set of embroidered necklines, front and back borders, sleeves borders, laces and side slit trims, plus hand-embellished neckline tassels and crochet lace. Where the embroidery sits on the shirt is the main structural variation. Four designs are fully worked, with embroidered sequinned raw silk across the front, back and sleeves: Royal Affair in green, Reina Rouge in magenta, Belladona Royale in peach and Rosalie Crown in yellow. Five carry the work on the front and sleeves with a dyed raw silk back: Cardinal Gem, Queen's Promise, Celestia Crown, Rouge Sapphire and Carmine Jewel. Vivienne Rose in white stands alone — its shirt front and back are dyed with embroidered sleeves, and it is the only design in the collection with an embroidered, sequinned trouser rather than a plain dyed one, so the embellishment runs down the full silhouette instead of sitting on the chest.

Three designs carry a signature detail of their own. Cardinal Gem's dupatta has two 4-side silk borders where every other design uses one, giving it more structure at the edge. Rosalie Crown is the only piece with a triple border arrangement layered across the shirt hemline and sleeves. Carmine Jewel carries a front daman motif, which is why Mushq lists it as the daman motif design. Queen's Promise is also worth noting for using organza borders alongside its silk ones, and for its hand-embellished silk sleeve balls.

The ten colourways cover a wide occasion range. The neutrals — Cardinal Gem in off white, Vivienne Rose in white and Queen's Promise in beige — suit nikah, walima and engagement functions, and are the safest picks when you do not know the event's palette. Carmine Jewel in black is the most formal, built for evening receptions and winter functions where sequins get the most contrast. For festive daytime events, Rosalie Crown in yellow is the traditional haldi and mayun choice, while Belladona Royale in peach and Reina Rouge in magenta suit mehndi and dholki functions.
