Elaf Serenade – The Formal Handwork '26 — Original Elaf Formal Handwork Wedding Wear in India
The Elaf Serenade – The Formal Handwork '26 collection brings Elaf's formal handwork line to Aangan: ten unstitched 3-piece formals built on embroidered organza and poly net, finished with hand embellishment and paired with embroidered poly net dupattas and raw silk inners and trousers. Every design is sourced and verified as an original Elaf Premium piece before listing. If you are looking for original Pakistani wedding wear, bridal-side outfits or formal party wear in India, Serenade is one of the most complete handwork edits on Aangan. What Makes Serenade Different
Most formal collections rely on machine embroidery alone. Serenade adds hand embellishment to the key panels and sleeves of every design, which gives the embroidery depth and texture that shows up clearly in person and in wedding photographs. Every design also comes with an embroidered poly net dupatta and a raw silk inner, so the full ensemble is finished to the same standard.
The Colour Story
The ten designs cover a wide wedding palette: ivory Opera, teal blue Melodie, blush pink Valentina, ice blue Lumiere, black Masquerade, sage green Moonveil, red Amour, pearl grey Elysia, lilac Ophelia and emerald green Verdella. Colours are described as they appear in the product images, so allow for slight variation between screens.
Organza or Poly Net?
Seven designs use a hand-embellished embroidered organza shirt: Opera, Melodie, Valentina, Lumiere, Masquerade, Ophelia and Verdella. Organza is crisp and holds structure, which suits straight, A-line and panelled kameez cuts. Three designs, Moonveil, Amour and Elysia, have a poly net shirt, and net's softer drape suits flared frocks and long, flowing kameez styles.
Designs by Silhouette
Flared frocks and kalidar cuts
Melodie, Moonveil and Amour arrive with embroidered front and back kallis, so they are made for kalidar frocks, peshwas and anarkali-style silhouettes. Moonveil has twelve kallis and twelve border pieces for the fullest flare in the collection, and Amour pairs eight kallis with a dupatta framed by a four-side patti.
Panelled long kameez
Opera, Valentina, Lumiere and Verdella are built on separate front panels. Lumiere has four hand-embellished front panels and a back spray, Valentina and Verdella have a centre panel framed by side panels, with Verdella adding a hand-embellished neckline and daman border, and Opera pairs front and side panels with an embroidered organza trouser border.
Bordered straight and A-line cuts
Elysia has two layered daman borders for the hem, and Ophelia has matching daman, sleeve and trouser borders. Both suit a long straight or A-line kameez where the borders sit cleanly at the hem.
Simple and versatile
Masquerade has a single hand-embellished front panel with an embroidered raw silk trouser, which gives your tailor the most freedom and makes it easy to wear as party wear.
Wedding, Bridal and Party Wear Occasions
For the bride and close family at mehndi, baraat and walima, the kalidar designs, Melodie, Moonveil and Amour, have the most bridal presence, and Amour's red is a classic bridal choice. For nikah ceremonies, engagements and receptions, the panelled and bordered designs, Opera, Valentina, Lumiere, Elysia and Ophelia, give a polished handwork look without competing with the bride. Verdella's emerald green is made for evening mehndi and reception photographs, and Masquerade is the most versatile party wear choice for dholki nights and formal dinners.
What Each Suit Includes
Every design is a 3-piece unstitched set: a hand-embellished embroidered shirt with its panels, kallis or borders; an embroidered poly net dupatta with a pallu or four-side border; and a raw silk inner and trouser, solid dyed, digital printed or embroidered depending on the design. The exact components and measurements for each design are listed in its fabric details.
Stitching and Care
Share the product photos with your tailor before cutting, and plan where every panel, kalli and border will sit. Keep hand-embellished areas away from seam allowances, use a soft lining under organza and net, and press only from the reverse side. Dry clean only, and store the pieces flat in a breathable cotton bag.
Unstitched, Original and Limited
All designs are unstitched, and Aangan does not offer a stitching service. Each design is limited to three pieces, and restocks are not guaranteed. Cash on Delivery is available across India.
