More Description

About Last Fling from Mushq Bachelorette Chronicles Chiffon 2026

Last Fling is the gradient pink and lemon design in the Mushq Bachelorette Chronicles Chiffon 2026 collection, and the only one in the range that carries mirror lace on the front. Mirror work behaves differently from sequins or thread - it reflects rather than shimmers, throwing points of hard light that read from across a room. Combined with a gradient base that shifts from pink to lemon, it makes this the most visually active piece in the collection.

Fabric Details

  • Shirt - embroidered, sequinned chiffon with hand embellished silk neckline and mirror lace front
  • Sleeves - organza sleeves border with silk sleeves lace
  • Dupatta - sequinned net with sequinned net border
  • Lehenga - dyed jamawar
  • Colour - gradient pink and lemon
  • Type - unstitched three-piece

What Arrives in the Set

A hand embellished front yoke on chiffon, a hand embellished front neckline in silk, and a hand embellished front finishing lace in organza. The back neckline is embroidered, sequinned silk and the back yoke is embroidered, sequinned chiffon. Mirror lace is supplied for the front. Sleeves are finished with an organza sleeves border and a silk sleeves lace, and printed patti runs at the daman and sleeves. The dupatta is sequinned net with its own border, and the bottom is a dyed jamawar lehenga.

The Embellishment

Three different materials meet at the neckline here - chiffon yoke, silk neckline, organza finishing lace - all hand embellished, which is an unusual amount of variety in one small area. The silk back neckline means the design is finished front and back. Mirror lace on the front is what most people will notice first, and because mirrors reflect whatever is around them, this design changes character significantly between daylight and warm indoor lighting.

Stitching and Styling

Mirror lace needs careful handling - do not iron over it, and ask your tailor to attach it after the front is otherwise complete rather than working around it. The gradient runs across the fabric, so panel placement matters more here than on a solid colour: laying pieces out in the wrong order breaks the transition. Confirm the gradient direction before cutting. Jamawar needs a proper waistband rather than a drawstring. Lining should be pink or ivory, matched to the darker end of the gradient. Aangan does not stitch - your own tailor cuts to your measurements.

Which Occasion Last Fling Suits

A lehenga silhouette with mirror work puts this firmly in wedding territory - mehndi, sangeet or a barat, where movement and light matter. The gradient keeps it lively rather than formal, so it suits the celebratory functions more than a solemn nikah. For the same lehenga build in a quieter register, see Mushq Bachelorette Chiffon 2026 Blush Hour in off white or Mushq Bachelorette Chiffon 2026 Miss Mischief in lilac.

Care and Storage

  • Do not wash at home - jamawar and mirror work will not survive it.
  • No bleach or stain-removing chemicals.
  • Iron at moderate temperature and never directly over mirror lace.
  • Hang the stitched lehenga rather than folding it, in a cotton cover.

FAQs

Is Last Fling stitched or unstitched?

Unstitched. You receive hand embellished and embroidered chiffon panels, mirror lace, a sequinned net dupatta and a dyed jamawar lehenga. Aangan does not stitch - your own tailor cuts to your measurements.

What makes Last Fling different from the rest?

It is the only design in the collection with mirror lace on the front. Mirror work reflects rather than shimmers, so it reads from a distance in a way sequins do not.

What does the gradient mean for stitching?

The colour runs from pink to lemon across the fabric, so panel placement matters. Laying pieces in the wrong order breaks the transition - confirm the gradient direction with your tailor before cutting.

Does it come with a trouser or a lehenga?

A dyed jamawar lehenga. Last Fling is one of three designs supplied this way, alongside Miss Mischief and Blush Hour.

How should the mirror lace be handled?

Attach it after the front is otherwise complete rather than working around it, and never iron over it.

Is the back of the shirt finished?

Yes. The back neckline is embroidered, sequinned silk and the back yoke is embroidered, sequinned chiffon, so the design reads front and back.

Which occasion does it suit?

Mehndi, sangeet or barat - the celebratory functions where movement and light matter. The gradient keeps it lively rather than formal, so it suits those better than a solemn nikah.

How should it be stored?

Hang the stitched lehenga rather than folding it, in a cotton cover. Do not wash at home and do not bleach.
