Panelled Honey Net Festive Suit for Flared Silhouettes
The Sobia Nazir Design 05 NUR Festive '26 Unstitched suit is the design in the Sobia Nazir NUR Festive Unstitched 2026 collection made for movement. With eight embroidered front panels, eight embroidered back panels and a hand-embellished bodice, it is ready to be tailored into a flared kalidar, anarkali or long panelled outfit that swirls as you walk.
Fabric and Craftsmanship
A bodice built in sections
The bodice comes in right and left pieces: a hand-embellished honey net front bodice and an embroidered honey net back bodice. This construction lets your tailor shape a fitted upper body before the panels open out below, which is the classic structure of a festive anarkali.
Sixteen embroidered panels
Panels A and B for the front and back add up to sixteen embroidered honey net pieces. Once joined, they create a full, graceful flare. Because each panel is embroidered, the embroidery continues all the way around the skirt of the outfit rather than stopping at the front.
Borders, sleeves and dupatta
Hand-embellished honey net sleeves and an embroidered honey net front and back border complete the shirt. The printed honey net dupatta comes with an embroidered honey net dupatta border, and 5.4 yards of printed blended raw silk are included for the trousers and shirt lining.

Styling and Occasion Ideas
Silhouettes that suit the design
This design is made for a flared cut. A floor-length anarkali, a mid-calf kalidar or a peshwas-style frock all show off the panels. Pair it with fitted churidar or straight raw silk trousers so the volume stays above.
Where to wear it
A flared silhouette is ideal for a mehndi, sangeet, dholki or any function where you will dance or move a lot. It also works for a reception if cut floor-length.
Accessories
With a hand-embellished bodice, a choker or statement earrings work well. Choose comfortable footwear, as the flared hem will be visible, and a potli bag suits the traditional silhouette.
Tailoring Tips for a Panelled Suit
Aangan sells this design unstitched and does not offer a stitching service. Share these points with your tailor:
- Choose a tailor experienced in kalidar or anarkali construction, as sixteen panels need careful joining.
- Lay out all panels before cutting to keep the embroidery evenly spaced.
- Use the raw silk to line the bodice and panels for a smooth, full flare.
- Attach the front and back border evenly along the hem.
Who This Design Is For
Design 05 is for anyone who loves a traditional, flowing festive silhouette. If you plan to dance at a mehndi or sangeet, or simply enjoy the way a flared anarkali moves, the sixteen embroidered panels give you that effect with embroidery all the way around the hem. It is also a strong option for brides' sisters, close family members and anyone who wants to stand out in group photographs, because a full flare reads clearly in pictures. Since the bodice comes in separate right and left pieces, a skilled tailor can achieve a closely fitted upper body before the flare begins. If you prefer a straighter look, one of the other NUR designs may suit you better, but for volume and movement this is the one to choose.
