Raw silk tailors cleanly into a straight shirt, a long kalidar or an A-line cut. Place the velvet neck and front patches first, then layer the organza and velvet ghera pattis at the hem with the daman pattis along the side slits. Raw silk can fray at the edges, so ask your tailor to finish seams neatly.
