More Description

Jugnu Karandi AW26 Parul is a maroon embroidered karandi suit from the Jugnu Karandi AW26 collection, the autumn-winter 2026 edit by Jugnu. Parul is a rich maroon karandi suit with multicoloured traditional embroidery, bell sleeves and a long embroidered border that runs along the daman, side extensions, sleeves and trouser. The maroon chiffon dupatta has embroidered pallus and a long embroidered border. It is sold on Aangan as an original, unstitched 3-piece Pakistani winter suit for festive wear and formal occasions in India.

About the Jugnu Karandi AW26 Collection

Karandi AW26 is Jugnu's first winter edit for 2026: ten unstitched karandi suits in deep, seasonal colours, each finished with traditional or floral embroidery and paired with either a chiffon dupatta or a karandi shawl. The collection is designed for the cooler months, when lawn feels too light but you still want a suit that looks festive and polished. Parul is one of the ten designs.

What Is Karandi Fabric?

Karandi is a textured, medium-weight winter fabric with a slightly coarse, woven feel. It is warmer than lawn or cambric, holds its shape well and has a soft, matte surface that shows embroidery clearly. Because it is breathable rather than heavy, karandi is comfortable for long winter days indoors and outdoors, from morning functions to late dinners.

Design and Embroidery

The Parul shirt is maroon karandi with multicoloured traditional embroidery placed across separate front panels, so the work sits exactly where it is meant to once stitched. In the brand's photos it is styled as a long shirt with bell sleeves and full-length trousers with an embroidered border, but because the suit is unstitched, you and your tailor decide the final cut.

The chiffon dupatta is light and sheer, so it balances the heavier karandi shirt and drapes easily over the head or shoulders.

What the Set Includes

Parul is a 3-piece unstitched set: an embroidered karandi shirt, a chiffon dupatta and a karandi trouser. The full list of components from the brand's listing is below.

Embroidered front centre panel (1 piece). Embroidered front right panel (1 piece). Embroidered front left panel. Dyed back (0.78 metre). Embroidered sleeve right and left panels (4 pieces). Embroidered sleeve insert border (1.30 metres). Embroidered arm hole and back neck border (1.75 metres). Embroidered daman, side extension, sleeve and trouser border (6 metres).

Dupatta

Dyed chiffon dupatta shawl (2 metres). Embroidered chiffon shawl pallu, right and left (0.66 metre). Embroidered chiffon shawl border (7.50 metres).

Trouser

Dyed karandi trouser (2 metres).

Stitching Ideas

Share your measurements and the product photos with your tailor before cutting, and plan where each embroidered panel and border will sit. A long straight or A-line shirt shows the panel embroidery best, and borders should be placed at the hem, sleeves or neckline exactly as the brand intended. Karandi stitches cleanly and does not need heavy lining, but a soft lining can add comfort. Aangan does not offer a stitching service, and this suit is not ready-to-wear.

When to Wear Parul

It is a festive favourite for winter weddings as a guest, mehndi and sangeet, Diwali and Karva Chauth evenings. For daytime, keep jewellery minimal and let the embroidery lead. For evening functions, add statement earrings, a clutch and embellished khussas, and wear the dupatta draped over one shoulder.

Choosing a Pakistani Winter Suit in India

Winter suits are worn far more often than heavy formals: to work events, family visits, festive dinners and weddings where you are a guest. When comparing Pakistani winter suits, look at three things: the fabric (karandi, khaddar or linen), how much of the shirt is embroidered, and whether the dupatta or shawl is finished to the same standard. Parul has embroidery on the shirt panels plus an embroidered dupatta, which is what makes it read as a festive outfit rather than a plain winter suit.
