More Description
More Description
Elaf Serenade – The Formal Handwork '26 Moonveil is a sage green formal and part of the Elaf Serenade – The Formal Handwork '26 collection, Elaf's formal handwork line for the 2026 wedding season. Moonveil is a poly net formal with the fullest construction in the line. It has a hand-embellished poly net front body, twelve embroidered kallis (six front and six back), twelve embroidered border pieces for the front and back, hand-embellished sleeves and a generous 7.31 metres of digital printed raw silk for the inner and trouser. It is sold on Aangan as an original, unstitched 3-piece Elaf Premium suit for wedding wear, bridal functions and formal party wear in India.
About Elaf Serenade – The Formal Handwork '26
Serenade is Elaf's formal handwork collection: ten unstitched designs built on embroidered organza and poly net, finished with hand embellishment and paired with embroidered poly net dupattas and raw silk inners and trousers. Every design in the line is made for occasions that call for more than everyday formal wear, from mehndi and nikah to receptions, walimas and formal wedding parties. Moonveil is one of the ten designs in the collection.
Fabric and Handwork
The shirt is poly net, an airy, sheer net that drapes easily and shows embroidery and hand embellishment clearly against its base. Net is a classic fabric for flared bridal and wedding silhouettes because it moves well and layers beautifully over a lining.
The hand embellishment is what separates a formal handwork suit from a standard embroidered formal. It adds depth and texture to the embroidered panels, so the design looks rich up close and in photographs, which is exactly what you want for wedding and bridal functions.
The dupatta is embroidered poly net. Net is light and sheer, so the dupatta frames the outfit without adding weight, and it drapes well over the head or shoulders through a long wedding function.
The trouser is a digital printed raw silk trouser. Raw silk has a soft sheen and good body, so it balances the ornate shirt and holds a neat shape once stitched.
What the Set Includes
Moonveil is a 3-piece unstitched set: a hand-embellished embroidered poly net shirt, an embroidered poly net dupatta and a raw silk trouser with inner. The full list of components from the brand's listing is below.

Silhouette and Stitching Ideas
Twelve kallis and a full set of border pieces make Moonveil a natural choice for a full, floor-length kalidar frock, peshwas or anarkali with a flared hem. The generous inner length allows a full lining under the net.
Share your bust, waist, hip, shoulder, arm-hole and preferred length with your tailor, together with the product photos. Ask them to plan the placement of every embroidered panel, border and kalli before cutting, and to keep hand-embellished areas away from seam allowances. Organza and net need neat finished seams and a soft lining for comfort, and hand embellishment should be pressed only from the reverse side. Aangan does not provide a stitching service, and this design is not pret.
Wedding, Bridal and Party Wear Occasions
Moonveil has the fullest, most bridal silhouette in the line and suits mehndi, baraat and walima for the bride and close family, as well as formal wedding parties.
For daytime functions, keep jewellery light and let the handwork lead. For evening wedding parties and receptions, pair it with statement earrings, a matching clutch and embellished khussas or heels. If you are dressing for your own bridal functions, Moonveil can be styled with heavier jewellery and a second dupatta for the head.
Choosing a Pakistani Handwork Suit for Wedding Season in India
Wedding season in India often means several functions in one week, each with a different mood. A formal handwork suit like Moonveil earns its place because it can be dressed up or down: as a bridal-side outfit for mehndi or walima, as a wedding guest look for a reception, or as elegant party wear for a formal dinner. When comparing Pakistani wedding wear, look at three things: the base fabric of the shirt, how much of the embroidery is hand embellished, and whether the dupatta and trouser are finished to the same standard. In Moonveil, the shirt, dupatta and trouser are all planned as one coordinated ensemble, which is what makes it read as a true formal rather than an everyday embroidered suit. If you are building a wedding wardrobe, pair one handwork formal like Moonveil with lighter festive wear for daytime functions.
